Rezolve.ai Ranked Highest in Two Use Cases in the 2026 Gartner® Critical Capabilities for AI Applications in IT Service Management
Rezolve.ai, the agentic AI service desk for IT, HR, and Finance, has been ranked highest in two use cases in the 2026 Gartner Critical Capabilities for AI Applications in IT Service Management: the AI for End-User Self-Service Use Case, with a score of 3.39 out of 5, and the AI for IT Agents Use Case, with a score of 3.14 out of 5 — the highest scores among the 10 products evaluated in each.
We have written about each ranking on its own. This post is about why the pair matters more than either one alone.
A service desk has two halves
Every service desk has a front door and a back office. The front door is where employees show up — in chat, over email, on the phone — hoping their issue gets resolved without a ticket, a queue, or a follow-up. The back office is the team of agents and practice leads handling everything the front door can’t: the ambiguous, the escalated, the genuinely hard.
Most AI for service management picks one half. Employee-facing chatbots that stop at the knowledge article. Agent copilots bolted onto a ticketing system that never touch the employee experience. We believe the two rankings reflect what happens when one platform takes both halves seriously — and connects them.
The front door: resolved, not redirected
Sidekick meets employees where they already work — Microsoft Teams, Slack, email and voice — answers with responses grounded in your knowledge and cited to their sources, and then executes: password resets, access requests, software provisioning and the rest of the volume that fills a queue. VoiceIQ brings the same end-to-end resolution to the phones. Behind the conversation, eight specialized AI agents reason over one shared context, so the employee experiences a single coherent assistant while retrieval, execution, verification and escalation each get purpose-built attention.
The result across our customer base: roughly 70% of requests are resolved before they ever become tickets.
Behind the desk: the work around the work, removed
The tickets that do reach agents deserve an agent’s full attention — which is exactly what the surrounding busywork steals. Agent Assist handles AI triage, generates summaries, surfaces similar tickets from history and drafts replies, so agents open each ticket with context assembled and a first draft written. DeskIQ clusters ticket history into ranked automation opportunities with projected impact, giving leaders an automation roadmap grounded in their own data. Agent Studio then turns those opportunities into governed agents built in plain language, with MCP tool integrations and a marketplace of 50 ready-made agents to start from.
One foundation under both
The two halves connect because they run on the same foundation: an AI-first ITSM system of record spanning incident, change, joiner-mover-leaver, assets and CMDB — used standalone, or augmenting the ticketing system you already have. Context flows from the first employee message to the final agent action. And at every step, autonomy stays governed: approval-gated where you want it, fully audited, and explainable after the fact. Glass-box, by design.
What it looks like in production
TotalEnergies Denmark’s first-ever HR chatbot, Robin, answers employees in about 30 seconds, around the clock. Black Angus Steakhouse cut after-hours IT dependency from 90% to 10%. MyEyeDr resolves issues in about 10 minutes, with roughly 30% of issues never becoming a ticket. JLL runs Ask Ethics on Rezolve.ai for a Fortune 500 workforce of roughly 100,000 employees across more than 80 countries. Rezolve.ai is rated 4.8/5 on G2 and is SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified, GDPR compliant, and HIPAA-ready.
Both halves, working together
Self-service that resolves keeps issues from becoming tickets. AI at the agent’s elbow shrinks the tickets that remain. An automation roadmap built from your own data keeps moving work from the second category into the first — with governance that makes each handoff safe to make. That is the flywheel, and we believe it is what the two rankings, taken together, reflect.
