Rezolve.ai Reaffirms No-Training Commitment as Atlassian Moves to Opt-Out AI Data Contribution

Ahead of Atlassian's updated cloud terms taking effect August 17, 2026, Rezolve.ai confirms customer tickets, conversations, and knowledge are never used to train its AI models, and opens a transition program for teams reassessing where their service desk data lives.

July 20, 2026,

Rezolve.ai, the agentic AI service desk for IT and HR, today reaffirmed its longstanding commitment that customer data is never used to train its AI models, and announced a transition program for Atlassian customers evaluating alternatives ahead of updated cloud terms that take effect August 17, 2026.

Under Atlassian's updated terms, customer metadata and in-app data (including the titles and content of Confluence pages and the titles, descriptions, and comments of Jira work items), may be used to improve Atlassian's apps and AI experiences for all customers. Participation is managed on an opt-out basis through organization-level data contribution settings. Atlassian states that in-app data is de-identified and aggregated before use, that opt-outs are honored with 30- and 90-day removal windows and model retraining, and that de-identified, aggregated data may be retained for up to seven years. The change currently affects customers with an active plan or trial of Jira, Confluence, or Jira Service Management.

Rezolve.ai takes the opposite posture by design. Its employee-facing AI, Sidekick, answers and acts by grounding in each customer's own knowledge sources, with citations, and every automated action runs through governed, approval-gated tools with a complete audit trail. Customer tickets, conversations, and knowledge are not used to train Rezolve.ai's models. There is no contribution setting to find, and no opt-out to maintain. The company's security posture includes SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, GDPR compliance, and HIPAA-readiness.

The transition program, available this summer, includes migration planning, implementation support, and special pricing for teams moving from Jira Service Management or comparable platforms. Customers running Rezolve.ai today include JLL, whose Ask Ethics program serves roughly 100,000 employees across more than 80 countries, and MyEyeDr, which resolves issues in about ten minutes with roughly 30% of issues never becoming tickets.

Rezolve.ai will host three live briefings during the week of July 20, beginning with a vendor-neutral walkthrough of the Atlassian change and the opt-out process, followed by sessions on compliance implications and migration planning. Registration is available at rezolve.ai/webinars.

Your service desk holds password resets, HR cases, and security incidents — some of the most sensitive text in a company. Our position is simple: that data is yours. We don't train on it, and customers should never have to hunt for an opt-out toggle to keep it that way.
