What is Atomicwork?

Atomicwork is an AI-native service management platform built for IT teams that want AI to resolve work rather than route it. The platform can act as your ITSM, ESM and ITAM system of record, or run on top of ServiceNow or Jira Service Management with no platform fee while you validate results. Tracxn lists Moveworks, Aisera and Serval as its closest competitors.

Atomicwork key features

  • AI Coworkers. Role-based agents such as ITOps Support Engineer, Access Coworker, Incident Manager and Onboarding Manager, each with skills, scoped permissions and budgets. Custom coworkers are available on higher plans.
  • Universal AI Coworker. Employee-facing support across Teams, Slack, email, portal, browser and voice, with 25+ languages and resolutions rather than routing.
  • Control plane. A single view of what every AI Coworker is doing, with role-based access control, spend limits and performance reporting.
  • ITSM, ESM and ITAM. Incident, request, problem and change management, departmental workspaces, asset management and a CMDB built on an enterprise IT graph.
  • Access Ops Manager. Birthright access on day one, dynamic access when needed, and revocation when it is not, strengthened by the Okta partnership.
  • Bring your own models. Customers can plug in models from OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini and others, and choose their own agent harness.
  • Native MCP server. Employees and engineers can work with Atomicwork from Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or VS Code without leaving those tools.

Worth knowing: Atomicwork's own material notes that the Professional plan does not include custom roles, skills and tools, and that multi-agent orchestration starts at the Business plan.

Atomicwork pricing (2026)

Atomicwork is one of the few vendors in this category that publishes prices. There are two models.

Usage-based plans

PlanPriceIncludes
ProfessionalFrom $25,000/year25,000 credits, 2 AI Coworkers, up to 250 end users, 500 devices, 50 apps, full ITSM
BusinessFlexible, sized to the business5 AI Coworkers, up to 1,000 end users, ESM, custom workspaces, multi-agent orchestration
EnterpriseCustom contract10 AI Coworkers, unlimited users and devices, data residency, SLAs, 24x7 support and a CSM

Additional AI Coworkers cost $499 per month each.

Outcome-based pricing

Outcome typePriceAnnual minimum
Knowledge support$1 per resolved query25,000 outcomes
Access automation$2 per request handled end to end12,000 outcomes
Service resolutionFrom $3 per resolved ticket goal8,000 outcomes

Running Atomicwork on your existing ServiceNow or JSM instance carries no platform fee, and the full Atomicwork platform is priced as outcomes plus 25% or more of net spend.

How credits work. A credit is drawn each time an AI Coworker completes a job, and consumption varies with the number of steps, tool calls, output length, coworker handoffs and the model used. Atomicwork's own examples put a simple knowledge answer near 5 credits and a network operations investigation near 50.

What to clarify in a quote: how credits are estimated for your ticket mix, overage pricing, whether unused credits carry over, how an outcome is counted when a ticket reopens, and what the 25% of net spend covers.

Atomicwork reviews and evidence

Public review volume is thin. G2 lists Atomicwork at 4.0/5 from a single review, which is too small to draw conclusions from, and its Gartner Peer Insights profile carries a handful of positive entries describing the platform as intuitive for both agents and end users. We found no placement in Gartner's 2026 Magic Quadrant or Critical Capabilities for AI Applications in ITSM.

Customer results Atomicwork publishes. Zuora replaced Jira Service Management and cut ticket volume by 50% across 15 global offices. Pepper Money replaced ServiceNow in six weeks, reporting a 75% reduction in MTTR and 97% employee satisfaction. At the time of the Okta investment, Atomicwork said its Universal Agent reduced ticket volumes by up to 60% and improved satisfaction by more than 25%. These are vendor-reported figures.

Atomicwork pros and cons

ProsCons

Runs on ServiceNow or JSM with no platform feeKey capabilities such as multi-agent orchestration sit above the entry plan
Access to requests from ChatGPT, Claude and other MCP toolsFounded in 2022, so a shorter enterprise track record than incumbents
