Title: Systems Engineer

Job location- Onsite- Bangalore (Kormangala), Chennai

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with clients and Customer Success Managers (CSMs) to gather requirements and understand business needs. 
  • Design, plan, and architect robust solutions tailored to client specifications and organizational objectives. 
  • Write, test, and troubleshoot scripts and code in relevant programming languages, particularly PowerShell. 
  • Coordinate project activities from inception to completion, ensuring timelines and milestones are met. 
  • Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) with clients, gathering feedback and making necessary adjustments.
  • Provide ongoing support during and after implementation to resolve any issues that arise. Document solutions, processes, and workflows for knowledge sharing and future reference. 

Education Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's Degree: A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field is required. 
  • Master’s Degree (Preferred): An advanced degree in a related discipline may be preferred but is not mandatory. 

Experience Requirements: 

Minimum of 3-6 Years of Experience

  • Proven experience in IT project management and solution design with a strong portfolio of completed projects. 
  • Specific Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience with PowerShell, including scripting and automation for administration in both on-premises and cloud environments (especially Microsoft Azure). 
  • Experience in designing and implementing solutions involving hybrid cloud architecture. Demonstrated knowledge in working with RESTful APIs and integrating services. .
  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in: Windows Server Administration: Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy Management.
  • Azure Services: Experience with Azure Active Directory, Azure Functions, and Azure Automation. Scripting/Automation Tools: PowerShell modules, including but not limited to AzureAD, MSOnline, and the Azure PowerShell Module.
  • API Interactions: Experience interacting with RESTful APIs, including managing authentication methods like OAuth. 
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA). 

Soft Skills: 

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective client interaction and documentation. 
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical skills with a methodical approach to troubleshooting issues.  
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to lead projects and collaborate with diverse teams, both technical and non-technical.  

Preferred Candidate:

  • The ideal candidate started their career in Level One Support and progressively advanced through various levels of IT administration. 
  • They possess a solid foundation in troubleshooting Windows device issues and a deep understanding of the common challenges faced by end users, including: Level One Support.
  • Initial exposure to basic troubleshooting of hardware and software issues, developing strong customer service skills and effective communication with end users. 
  • Progression through Levels of Administration: Advancement to Level Two and Level Three Support roles, enabling extensive experience in diagnosing complex issues and managing escalated cases. Troubleshooting Windows Device Issues.
  • Proficient in resolving a wide range of Windows-based issues, including operating system problems, application errors, and network connectivity issues. Automation and Scripting Experience.
  • Proven track record of implementing automation solutions to streamline troubleshooting processes, utilizing scripting languages like PowerShell to expedite common administrative tasks. 
  • End User Issue Resolution: Extensive experience addressing and resolving end user issues efficiently, with a focus on improving user satisfaction and reducing downtime. 
  • Skilled in leveraging automation to enhance support processes, allowing for quicker resolutions and proactive notifications of potential problems. 
  • Work Environment: Office in India or remote position with flexibility to work during US hours.
  • This includes potential for collaboration across time zones. Preferred Qualifications: Industry certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: PowerShell Certification, or any related IT certifications that demonstrate expertise.
  • Previous experience in a client-facing role with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and feedback integration.
